Artist Statement

Based in Staffordshire, I specialise in abstract landscapes. My hope is to evoke an emotion, create a connection, or awaken a memory in viewing my work. Using oil and cold wax, I explore the interplay between colour, abstraction, and the natural world.

I paint intuitively, deliberately veering away from the pursuit of perfection. Instead, I embrace the freedom of applying paint and allowing it to take its own course.

My ultimate goal is for the viewer to be immersed in my work, feel energy from it and for the painting to reveal another element each time the work is viewed.
