I find magic and immense succour walking in our landscapes and being immersed in the elements’ interplay.
Using oil paints on canvas board or multimedia on paper, I aim to capture the essence of my relationship with nature and my feelings and love for it when outdoors. The dance of energy in light and movement between a coastline, hill or fields and the sky fascinates and moves me; it continues to feel very special.
My dearest hope is that my paintings convey this and remind viewers of a beautiful memory of a time and place of their own.
