I create decorative and functional ceramics, handbuilding my work often using raku clay. I enjoy incorporating natural materials, particularly driftwood, into my designs.
My work is inspired by both rural and seaside landscapes and often echoes the natural world and changing seasons. I enjoy exploring texture and colour within all my pieces.
Whilst I live in Leeds, I spend as much time as I can in Norfolk where I have been visiting for more than 30 years. Some of my work is influenced by my love of the Yorkshire Dales and Moors and some by my love of Norfolk.
