Carol Rogerson

Artist Statement

Carol’s work is inspired by the colours, shapes and silhouettes of industrial architecture.  These influences are realised through the choice of red stoneware and porcelain clay.  The rich natural colours which make the work so distinctive are achieved through gas reduction firing and the layering of glazes, for Carol the most exciting and fascinating part of the ceramic process.
