Corrina Rothwell

Artist Statement

I am a professional artist based in Nottingham, a painter with a background in textiles and illustration. My current work represents a culmination of elements that have been present in my work over many years, a sort of melding of past and present. I combine a passion for colour and painterly abstraction with a long-held love of line drawing. My subject matter too has come full circle, the human form returning as the focus of my interest and with it a resurrection of my fascination with human psychology.
