David Blanchard, Derbyshire Wild -Handmade Inks
I make natural inks from materials foraged in Derbyshire. Oak galls, Buckthorn, Walnut hulls, Alder cones, various flowers and berries. The way the inks react together is fascinating and often surprising.
In addition to the inks I make Artworks, greetings cards and bookmarks. Also sketchbooks with Japanese washi paper covers decorated with the inks. All are original one off items, no prints or copies.
