Artist Statement

I create ceramic sculptures and homewares that take inspiration from organic flower forms, architectural elements and my own East Asian cultural influences.

Each element of a sculpture is hand-built from stoneware and porcelain clays, with repeating petal and organic forms that appear to flow or grow through a piece, this gives a sense of movement and life to my work.

A love of colour is shown through the use of matt and glossy glazes in a bold but coordinating palate.
