My highly decorative ceramics reflect the tactile joy of throwing clay on the pottery wheel.
The organic shapes invite to wrap your hands around the vessels which are decorated with texture to give additional sensory satisfaction.
The pieces are embellished with imprinted pattern, using a variety of tools and slip trailing methods. The focus and speed of throwing is balanced with the slow, mindful decorating techniques.
The shapes and colours of my vessels are a sentiment to my love of nature, especially the sea. My aesthetics are also influenced by the highly ornate art nouveau style of my birthplace, Budapest.
