Artist Statement

Hazel Atkinson.

I am a full-time designer/maker.

My award-winning designs have enabled me to run a successful creative jewellery business for years. I work exclusively with hand decorated bright coloured anodized aluminium and silver. This specially treated aluminium can be dyed, manipulated, textured, and formed, allowing incredible freedom of design. Inspired by natural forms and landscapes, my work is visually intricate with intertwining patterns and vibrant colours producing intense flashes of unique jewellery. I attend numerous Trade shows, and exhibit my work in many Galleries, Shops, Castles, and Art centres.
