Artist Statement

Inspiration comes from my love of the landscape and all things nature feature heavily in my work. I have found myself drawn to producing more abstract images with a move away from traditional photography. I often use intentional camera movement or long exposure to create a more painterly image. I also use texture, colour and patterns as a focus of an image to engage a viewer with a more intimate experience.

I continue to explore and develop my interest in all forms of abstraction, creating cyanotypes, paintings, and botanical prints, expanding my love for art.
