Artist Statement

Minimalist shapes are pierced from different colour and carat solid recycled gold and soldered together with recycled silver to blend seamlessly as if one piece of metal. This is a technique I’ve developed over the years from a love of mixing precious metals together and the subtle golden rainbows the pieces create.

The colours and shades of gold in my work are inspired by the amazing sunsets in West Oxfordshire where I now live, whilst the shapes and lines in my pieces are influenced by city skylines and urban architecture harping back to my roots in Nottingham.
