Using paint, print and collage I explore impressions, atmospheres and revealed glimpses of place and time.
My paintings result from the exploration of colour combinations and forms that generate suggestions of captured moods and sightings of landscape and place.
Mixed-media images of paint and printing, alongside juxtapositions of made and found materials, contribute to bringing about new directions and resolutions, and further developing the themes.
The abstract images seek to capture ‘sweet point’ moments in time through energies of colour and light.
