I’m a textile artist working with recycled and vintage fabric. I use appliqué (collage with fabric) to create pictures, which I turn into textile products – things like cushions, bags, wall hangings and hot water bottle covers. All designs are my own – usually animal-based – and are brought to life using the variety of different colours, patterns and textures within the fabric.
Additionally I convert vintage eggcups into tiny pin cushions. Each pin cushion uses at least five different fabrics, giving me another chance to indulge my passion for mixing colours and patterns – albeit on a much smaller scale.
