Lindsay Davies

Artist Statement

I am Lindsay Davies, a Nottingham-based artist, teacher & art hypnotherapist who specialises in bringing the ideas of the psychologist Carl Jung to life through expressions of the natural world.

My inspiration comes from dreams, archetypes and the landscape of the collective unconscious, from which I create animal forms that resonate with creatures from the British landscape.

All my work has a low environmental impact. The pieces are created without a firing process & incorporate reused materials to ensure a low carbon footprint & minimal waste.
