Louise Muttitt

I have been working as a silversmith since 2005, and moved into my studio at Sharpe’s Pottery Museum, Swadlincote, South Derbyshire in 2021. My work is characterised by its ‘organic’ style, with stylised leaf type forms present in my work. Each piece is handmade, and I use the specialist technique of fold forming to create my jewellery and silverware. I am passionate about sharing this wonderful craft, have written two instructional books, ‘Making Silver Jewellery’ and ‘Fold Forming for Metalsmiths and Jewellers’ and I teach workshops including my award winning Make your own Wedding Rings course at my studio.
