Mark Langley

Artist Statement

I am inspired by the local Derbyshire environment near my home in Belper and my work reflects the landscapes, buildings and animals of the area.

Although I am best known for my highly detailed and realistic pencil and colour pencil drawings of architecture and animals I am now enjoying working in other media and developing an more impressionistic style. I will be exhibiting my pointillist landscapes in oil at the festival.

I exhibit regularly at galleries and art events in the region, sell my work worldwide and I am always please to accept commissions.
