My work is Narrative / Figurative, I tell stories, my stories are not true stories, they may have echoes of truth, they may remind you of something you have known.  I have just begun a new series of work with the working title of ‘Couples’ these are large scale canvases, As well as my narrative paintings I also paint Ripe Fruit, Flowers, Sweet Food & Architectural Details.  I work mainly in oil paint but sometimes watercolour or chalk pastels, This gives time for the oil paint to dry, & me time to develop the large Narrative work.
