Paul Smith

I am a full-time artist making figurative hand-built ceramics and limited edition sculptures.  My subject matter is our relationship with the animal world, the inspiration coming from a love of nature, art and European folk stories.  Adhering to the principle that less is more, the shapes of my animal sculptures are as simple as possible.  The style is bold and semi-abstract with graceful sweeping curves and simplified details.
