Artist Statement

I illustrate and create contemporary art prints, stationery and homewares. Following a BA Hons in Illustration and 15 years experience in surface pattern design, I founded my own brand in 2019 when taking part in my local Open Gardens event. My illustrations and designs are inspired by the plants grown in and around my home and are represented with a thoughtfully curated colour palette. My creative process begins with pencil sketches, which I then refine digitally. Playing with composition, colour, and incorporating hand-printed or digitally drawn textures, I transform these sketches into unique designs. My designs are then professionally, digitally printed to create high quality products.
