Artist Statement

I am a young photographer, who is studying photography, film and media at Confetti Institute in Nottingham.

Brought up in Derbyshire, with the stunning views, I became fascinated with capturing countryside life.  I now love taking photos of things that draw my attention into the detail. This could be part of an animal, a rusty gate post or even a piece of orange. The end result is often ambiguous or captures something unusual.

My work is mostly unedited, untouched and unlit so you are seeing what I saw when first taking the photograph.

My photos are taken on my Redmi phone.

This year I am experimenting with transferring these photos onto metal.
