Artist Statement

For environmental and economic reasons I try to keep costs down on products. I’ve  been experimenting with recycled semi-precious objects – reshaping, patinating, and fusing with silver –  creating a new jewellery collection.

I recently completed a commission carving Cornish Serpentine greenstone; my intention is to make an inexpensive suit of jewellery for men using carved stone.

Recent European trips continue to stimulate my designs, influenced by architectural features.
