Artist Statement

I am a goldsmith, and jeweller creating finely finished pieces, mainly in silver, enhanced with gold and copper as the design demands.

I use various working methods. One is to take silver, recycle it and melt it over copper, to produce wonderful varied patterns. Another is to texture twist and plait silver. I also use a hammer to shape and transform silver into a finish piece.

My inspiration comes from the raw beauty of melted silver, coupled with the patterns and shapes around us, both man-made and natural.

Ultimately, I aim to develop pieces that reflect, individuality, quality and finish.
