Artist Statement

I use a combination of paper cutting with colourful and textured fabrics to illustrate my ideas without the need to use any paint. The viewer experiences a different picture from afar – with the details and structure of the work revealing themselves as they get closer.

This distinctive style is a combination of my passion and knowledge of textiles from many years, as well as a career as a freelance graphic designer and map maker for the publishing industry.

You will find an exuberant mix of street scenes, plants, landscape and seascapes and even still life amongst my work.
